Terms & Conditions

We are very pleased to offer you the chance to take part in the Booktrust Best Book Awards with Amazon Kindle.

The Awards seek to unearth the very best children’s books, and to honour authors and illustrators who continue our proud heritage of storytelling. The Awards will give every child the chance to join in – whatever their age, ability or interest.

The books shortlisted for the inaugural awards will be announced on 27 March 2014, at which point children at registered settings across the country will read the books and have their say. Registered settings will be able to:

  • Download resources for reading groups
  • Add reviews, videos and pictures
  • Interact with other groups
  • Enter competitions
  • Vote for the winners
  • Tune in online to watch the award ceremony live

The following settings are eligible to register to take part in the awards:

  • Participating settings will ensure that the free resources provided are used within their setting to support reading for pleasure.
  • Participating settings agree to ensure that all votes submitted for the Awards are complete, accurate and representative of the views of participating children, to the best of their ability.

Settings registering for the Booktrust Best Book Awards are understood to have accepted the conditions above and are automatically considered as partners. No further action is needed.
