This story is about a boy called Oliver. He meets mermaid called Iris on a island called 'Cliff'. His Mum and Dad are explorers! My favourite part of the story was where all the islanders wore wigs. Iris was my favourite character because she is funny, short sighted and a mermaid. I thought the book was amazing, one of the best books I've read!

The story is about a boy who loves an adventure. One day he finds a moving island and starts a new adventure and meets a mermaid called Iris. My favourite part was when the boy meets Cliff and he starts to help him know they are friends. My favourite character is Iris. She is shortsighted but I think she is lovely, kind and caring. I thought this was a wonderful book and I would recommend this book to people who love to read.
